Heading into the Autumn is always a busy time of year for industry shows and events. This weekend sees Brides The Show take place at the Business Design Centre in Islington, where our good friend Amie Bone is going to be showcasing some spectacular florals. Sadly I can’t make it as I’m heading to Dubai for the Planner’s Xtraordinaire show but I’m looking forward to seeing what breathtaking designs are on show.
Last weekend saw the National Wedding Show take place at London Olympia, with the addition of the Luxury Wedding Fair. I was invited along to the Luxury Wedding Fair as a speaker by Beyond Weddings, a fantastic new online resource for couples looking for amazing wedding venues both in the UK and overseas. I had the pleasure of giving some tips to couples on planning luxury weddings, and it was great to meet couples, offer some advice and also catch up with colleagues from the industry.
The Luxury Wedding Fair is a great place for couples to see a bespoke collection of premium wedding experts, enjoy designer catwalk shows from some of London’s most sought after designers, and fabulous food and drink. A number of venues including one of my favourite London hotels, The Corinthia, were also on hand along with The Wedding Gallery, a new luxury wedding planning, retail and inspiration space opening in London this October which I’m extremely excited about.
