Featured Suppliers: The Cake Parlour

Friday, 13 May 2011

We were recently flicking through some photos from the UKAWP's Wedding Sanctuary back in March..any excuse to have an oohh and an aahh at all of the fab work by our lovely UKAWP colleagues. The one image that got the biggest oohh had to be the Sweet Table created by the rather wonderful and very talented Zoe Clark at The Cake Parlour. I may have mentioned (once or twice) that choosing cakes is one of my favourite parts of planning and especially so if they happen to be one of Zoe's. From glamorous lace creations, to funky teacup cakes and button cookies; there really is something to suit all styles and achieve that wow factor. Stunning and delicious!

Media: Big Fat Footballers' Weddings

Friday, 06 May 2011

We've received lots of kind words from the Irish Press recently and we were really pleased to read even more in The Irish World this week. With a nice little play on words from the recent and much talked about Big Fat Gypsy Weddings, this article touch's on our close links with the professional football industry and makes for quite an interesting read if we do say so ourselves. And what beautiful images and double page spread..one page is never enough for us! Many thanks to David Hennessy at the Irish World for putting the article together.

A Right Royal Wedding

Tuesday, 03 May 2011

Well what a weekend it was. It all begun with the most gorgeous Royal Wedding and we would like to say an enormous congratulations to Kate and William. The wedding was even more fabulous than we could have imagined and the rest of the long weekend has been spent eating the union jack themed rock and cupcakes that we went slightly overboard on! So a few pounds heavier but now Royally inspired, it's back to planning all of our wonderful weddings and events. No time to eat cake with the busy wedding season upon us....well maybe just one more...
