About
Aimee Dunne

Following a BSc Degree in Business Administration from Bath University, Aimee Dunne spent ten years working as an auditor within the banking industry in the City of London. This nurtured Aimee's natural eye for detail and excellent skills in communicating and negotiating with suppliers. Throughout her business career Aimee spent the majority of her spare time looking for events to manage, be it her own, her friend's or family's, and it was clear this was where her passion and skills lay.

As well as assisting in planning a number of weddings, Aimee has also been fortunate enough to attend a number of corporate events throughout her career in the banking industry, and she also has close links with the professional football industry which has meant she has attended a number of high profile social occasions and weddings. This experience, along with her passion, obsession over detail and excellent business acumen, means Aimee is able to provide perfectly planned, sophisticated events.

UK Alliance of Wedding Planners

Aimee Dunne is a member of the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners and has completed various training provided by the Alliance.

The UKAWP aims to promote professionalism within the industry, through membership, training courses and specialised events. The UKAWP believes, as does Aimee, that a wedding is one of the most personal and important events in a couple's life and those involved have a duty to act with integrity and honesty. All members of the Alliance are vetted with strict entrance requirements and are required to abide by a code of ethics, including refusal of commission and passing on any supplier discounts directly to clients.

UKAWP Code of Ethics

  • Respond to enquiries within 48 hours.
  • Respect client confidentiality.
  • Disclose all suppliers that they have a vested interest in.
  • Always pass discounts and/or commission onto the client.
  • Ensure their Public Liability insurance is up to date.
  • Never give client details to any third party unless for the sole purpose of the wedding.
  • Respect copyright of all planners, co-ordinators and related suppliers.
  • Represent each client fairly and honestly.
